Regional training in Albania on
Horizon Europe proposal writing

FIT-4-NMP held a Horizon Europe training workshop in Tirana, Albania, on 6th October.

 

Held within the frame of the 22nd edition of the Trends in Nanotechnology International Conference (TNT2022), the training workshop attracted thirty-two participants from the University of Tirana, Agricultural University of Tirana, University of Prishtina and Academy of Sciences of Albania

 

Similar to a recent training workshops in Armenia, FIT-4-NMP coordinator Giles Brandon held two sessions on how to write Horizon Europe proposals.

 

The morning session was focused on several coordination and support actions (CSA) funded under the Horizon Europe Widening programme (Twinning, ERA-Chair and Hop-On Facility) while the afternoon session was focused on research and innovation actions (RIA) and innovation actions (IA) funded under Horizon Europe Pillar 2 (Clusters 4 and 5).

 

During the practical sessions, Mr Brandon provided concrete examples of proposal structure, text and figures to support researchers based on his own experience of writing successful Twinning, ERA-Chair and RIA proposals.
