FIT-4-NMP project partners Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics, Slovak Academy of Sciences (IMSAS) held a successful hybrid event in the project area. The Functional Materials 2022 hybrid conference gathered 45 participants from different countries, including 3 FIT-4-NMP talented newcomers.

The main goal was the exchange of the latest knowledge, particularly in the field of functional materials. The conference is focused on:

• functional materials (non-ferrous metal alloys, steels, cast irons, ceramics, polymers, composites, etc.

• modification of material properties

• structural analysis

• production, recycling, sustainability, industrial applications, etc.

During the conference, Prof. Karol Izdinsky informed the participants about the FIT-4-NMP support opportunities and shared information on how to join the project with all potentially interested.
