The FIT-4-NMP project held the 4th Tech Transfer Interactive Workshop on 18th and 19th of September 2023, in Bucharest, Romania.

The workshop aimed to provide specific and tailored information on technology transfer to professionals from Talented Newcomer organisations who have a responsibility to set up collaborations across research centres with industrial partners, or who manage technology transfer functions.

The participants had the opportunity to learn best practices from highly qualified trainers who shared their experience and knowledge in technology transfer.

​

The presentations offered valuable information on the patenting and the licensing processes, on setting up a spin-off company, as well as details about technology transfer from academia to industry through research collaborations and the expectations of industry. Further subjects approached during the workshop included handling intellectual property management, EU collaboration contracts and how Top Innovators approach collaboration.

The event was a great occasion for improving the knowledge in technology transfer areas, along with networking and establishing new bonds between the attendees.

The FIT-4-NMP training workshop gathered 22 participants from academia, private sector and public authorities from Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine and 4 speakers from Belgium, The Netherlands and UK.

The workshop was hosted by the Romanian project partner IMT Bucharest. The content of the workshop was designed and delivered by the project partner ASTP.
